Playback system rentals for touring bands
Professional playback rigs for tours with tracks, click, and timecode. Reliable systems that run night after night without drama.
What we rent
Bring your own laptop or rent a complete turnkey system—either way, you'll get the infrastructure for reliable playback.
Rent the complete system:
Laptop or hardware playback device
Audio interface and cabling
Road case and power conditioning
Pre-configured software (Ableton Live, MainStage, QLab)
Backup computer with identical setup
Bring your own computer:
Professional audio interface
All cabling and connectivity
Road case for transport
Power conditioning and backup power
We'll help you configure your system for touring
All rentals include the infrastructure you need: interfaces, cables, cases, and accessories. Just bring your show files.
Redundancy and reliability
Playback failure kills shows. We build systems with backup paths so you're covered if something goes wrong.
What that looks like:
Dual playback systems with instant failover
Backup audio interfaces and cabling
Pre-show testing and validation
Spare parts included with rental
Backup laptop available (if renting complete system)
Your tracks play every night, or we haven't done our job.
Routing and integration
Playback systems need to talk to everything else: FOH, monitors, click to the drummer, cues to lighting, timecode to video.
We'll configure:
Multi-output routing for stems and tracks
Separate click and cue sends
SMPTE timecode output for video and lighting sync
Integration with your wireless IEM and RF systems
Dante or AES networking if needed
Tell us your signal flow and we'll build it. No guessing at soundcheck about what's going where.
Custom builds
Every production has different playback needs. We'll build systems that match your show's complexity—whether that's simple stereo tracks or 16-channel stem playback with video sync.
Custom configurations include:
Multi-computer systems for complex shows
Integrated MIDI control for lights and effects
Sample-accurate sync across multiple outputs
Specialized software configurations
Training and documentation for your playback operator
Working with tracks for the first time? We'll walk you through the setup and best practices so you're confident on the road.
Why rent a playback system
Reliability matters: Your laptop might run your demos fine, but touring is different. Professional interfaces, clean power, proper cabling, and backup plans make the difference.
Infrastructure without the investment: Get road-ready cases, quality interfaces, and proper routing without buying everything yourself.
Fly in light: International bands can rent a complete system or just the infrastructure instead of bringing gear through customs.
Location and pickup
Right off I-287 in North Jersey. We share a building with Ruby Stage rehearsal facility. Program your show files and rehearse with the actual playback rig before tour starts.
